I can connect just fine over ethernet, and every other wireless computer on the network doesnt have this problem. Basically, throughout the day, the computer disconnects from the network, waits about ten seconds, then re-connects and goes about its business. It doesnt seem to follow any pattern or time limit, it just randomly occurs. Things I have tried:
- new wireless card (D-Link WDA-2320 is the one Im using now)
- any available drivers (Atheros, Microsoft, and D-Link)
- formatted and re-installed Vista
- set a static IP
- set up static leases on the router (WRT54G w/ DD-WRT)
Ive looked through the event viewer, and there are no warnings or errors. My parents say they can live with it like this but the fact that I cant figure it out is driving me insane. Help!
