today i have just received my new gateway laptop with a wireless networking card built into it. i have installed the model from Aliant Highspeed and the wireless light is on with a solid green light. when i try to connect to the internet through wireless, the connection info works but the status says "validating identity". what does i do now?, did anyone have the same problem that i have?, can someone tell me what to do next because i've restarted windows and it just keeps saying that the status is "validating identity". can anyone help me get thrugh this part? i've connected to a friends wireless modem and also my schools wireless connection, does anyone know what to do next? please help me!
