i got a wireless g router with one comp connected wirelessly at 36 mb/s and good signal and one computer connected via ethernet...wenenver i donwload somethin from the interent from the same site the ethernet will go 615 kb/s and wireless wil go about 67 mb/s...how come? i if my wireless computer is connected at 36mb/s shoulnt i get the same speed?

Do you mean 67 kb/s? Are you downloading at the same time also?

You can only download or upload what your isp is set as. Now you can transfer files between 2 computer very fast, but not over the internet.

yea my bad 67 kb/s i dont download at exactly the same time...one after the other...and i get those results... even though its wireless my comp is connectd to router at 36 mb/s so download should be round 615 kb/s right? not exaclty just usin numbers.... how come im gettin different? is there some kind of threshold microsoft puts on wireless networked comps? can i change it?
