Basically I need some advice on hardware and the how to set-up the network as shown in the attached diagram. Our internet connection from ISP is downstairs and the room i've moved into upstairs is too far to travel cables and I can't really be bothered as its not going to be a permanent residence anyways.

So the question is how do I go about creating a wireless bridge from my netgear router downstairs across to create a link to an access point/wireless bridge router upstairs which i can then add a hub to allow all the connections to join the network.

I would prefer to keep all the same manufacturer gear if possible i.e. all netgear and will be looking at a N wireless range device for the fastest possible wireless connection.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's good to know the specification and features that are available to you on the current device, otherwise you could buy something and end up not working.

Keep it the same, buying from the same manufacturer increases the chance the product will work correctly.
