I made a small mistake by not remembering what I did, and being on the beginning end of computing, I can't remember just how to fix it. I have cable internet which worked fine. I bought a Linksys SRX wireless router and installed it, which I believe changed some IP settings. I then decided to take the router back, and get a different one. Well during this downtime before the next router arrives, my internet no longer works. I get the typical "page cannot be displayed" deal. How could I reset settings so my computer can communicate with the cable modem again? Thanks.

You most likely have some IP addressing problems.
Go to you command prompt and type ipconfig
This will give you your IP address and default gateway.
I would read the manual that comes with your router to find out more on how to configure your IP address properly.
