I would like to configure my system to not shut off my wireless LAN card and disconnect me from my wireless network while the computer is in suspend mode. I want to keep connected to the ever important AIM so that I can receive messages while I am away, but the system kicks me off when it disconnects. I know on my old system I could configure which ports and IRQs were shut off and such, but I can't seem to find a way to do it or a uttility to download to enable such a thing for my Dell 8200. If anyone can give me any tips they would be greatly appreciated!

I'm running Windows XP Pro on a Dell 8200 P4 system. My wireless card is made by Belkin.

Why do you have it set to "suspend"? turn that crap off.. thats the only thing I can think of. Solves most problems.. just use a blank screensaver if you want it to look like that.
