Following along as I also am planning to built a network in my house- currently only have 2 PC wires and all others using Wi-fi. Have determined that I will use Cat6 wire- Monoprice seems to be the best for that. Trying to determine what switch you would recommend ( for me = 8 port and with Gigabyte speed- not sure about the thread started ).
