secure vs. unsecure

What can one do if they were to connect into your wireless (router) network?
I have a (secured) Linksys wireless G router and it seems to work great...even though i'm not too sure if i have all the settings set to the most secure! Any advice on this would be great!!
What's the most one should fear if someone were to connect to your network? (unsecure one)
I'm just trying to educate myself the most possible!!

as long as its passworded protected (with the 15-character numbered password), you should be fine from intruders.

If somebody connected to your network, all they would get is some free bandwidth (providing they are close to your router.

Also, they can get into your shared files, so watch out! Just make sure WEP is on...

enable WEP or WAP Encryption and disable SSID
