RE: Printer Home Networking issue?

Hello everyone:

I hope someone can help with this problem. I have 3 computers that were previously set up at my office that were capable of printing wirelessly through a workgroup.
I have since moved my office home and can't get it to work??? I have one main desk top computer that connects directly to the printers and two wireless laptops. They are all connected to a Linksys wireless router which allows all of them to access the internet. Printing is my problem?

Can anyone help? Thank you in advance!

Re: Printer Home Networking issue?

Same router for both setups? Same IP scheme, default gateway etc. The PC's are most likely DHCP but the printer should be static. Check to see what IP your PC's have and then print a config page on your printer to see what IP it has.

Re: Printer Home Networking issue?

I don't believe that the printer will have an IP address in this scenario... Sounds like it is connected via parallel port or USB port to the desktop.

Have you ensured that the wireless hosts are connecting to the correct network, and not perhaps a neighboring wireless network?
