Question about my domain name...

I'm not sure why but whenever I type in my domain in my URL it switches to my IP address. Any suggestions how to fix this? I'm not sure, i've had the domain for a few months now, and I'd like it to actually read as the domain and not the IP it's pointed to.

Are you going through dynamic DNS, renting out space on a server, or perhaps you've got your own DNS set up?

Running my own server, on my own DNS from GoDaddy.

so u run your own DNS Server or go daddy run the DNS, I wud suggest letting GD run ur dns services for you

Um... what?
Anywho, no, I registered my domain with GoDaddy, I run a server... does it have anything to do with nameservers?
