I've gotta come up with some ideas for a final year project. Networks, and in particular network and internet security are areas that i am particularly interested in. I have an idea of what i want to do it's just a case of whether it will actually work! Anyway i'm going to have a proper look into it this week but i would like some other ideas - some areas might be:
> inteligent firewalls
> IPv6
> Routing algorithms
> distributed systems
(or anything else network related) etc...
- Probably best to avoid encryption tho.
What would be ideal is if someone can think of a particular problem that there is no real solution to - i dont want to just code some application for the sake of it, i want something usefull - perhaps IPv6, being relatively new, might give some more options
...however i am not restricted to networks so any other sugestions are just as welcome
