port question

I am trying to play an online game that uses port 5555, unfortunately my college server blocks that port from use, so I was wondering if there was a way to trick the server or use a different port to get around it or something. Any ideas?

If its a College server, then its impossible, well not impossible, but not smart to mess with the college servers.

Some games allow you to host on a different port, try logging into servers that use a port different from that one. If not, I don't think theres a way.
