No internet access in Win 7

Im getting "no internet access" on my laptop which is connected via my wireless router on my main PC. It can access the homegroup, so i know the two comps are talking but no matter what I try, I cant get my laptop internet access back. This just happened out of the blue, so im not sure what would cause it. Have tried switching the router on and off but this hasnt fixed it.

Have you renewed the IP address of the windows 7 machine?

Open the command line and type:
ipconfig /release
<press enter>
ipconfig /renew
<press enter>

That should renew your IP address. If that doesn't work verify that you can ping the other computers on the network and the router.
