Here is the background. I have an office computer in a seperate building behind my house. I have a laptop that I use in the house. We just bought my daughter an old computer to use for her schoolwork. The modem is in the office hardwired to the office computer. There is a router attached but the my daughter's computer does not have wireless access and the signal is not the greatest in the house since the router is in the office. Is there a way to use another router in the house so that both house computers can be hardwired so that the internet is optimal?

You can use a product like the Netgear WNC2001 which converts wifi to ethernet and connect an unmanaged ethernet switch to it if you dont want to hardwire it and bury the wire.
