I am trying to set up a printer to use over my network as I install a new printer on one of my machine, the wizard says to enter a a printer name, which I did but I get a message of "Could not connect to printer. You either enter a printer name that was incorrect or the specified printer is no longer connected to the server." I tried bypassing the step and was able to do so but when I was asked the printer name again and to select where the printer was located on my other machine I entered both but I got the same error.
The printer with drivers and printer connected to it is a win98 SE and the one that I also would like to print from is a win 2000 server.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to install the print drivers on both?
Any help is appreciated.
