Well, I'm a total idiot when it comes to networking, along with hardware. But I'll probably ask about hardware issues later. For now, let's go with this networking wonderment I have. 
Alright, I'm currently on a computer network shared by three people (soon to be two). It's all family, not professional or anything. So... I recently got the game Counterstrike (Valve, First Person Shooter, if ya don't know it... then wow. ).
My brother says the high connection with Counterstrike will infact lag his connection. I don't know if it's true. I don't know how internet with networking works all too well.
And while we're at that question, what about downloading. If I constantly am downloading, will that lag the connection? :amazed:
