Is this network even remotly possible?

I have some old computers kicking around and I want to get one of them to have internet. It's a pentuim 1 and it dosn't have any modem, just parallel ports. Now I happen to have a very long parallel connection cable, so I was wondering if I could share the internet through this connection cable from my good computer (P4 3.0GHZ WinXP) to my crummy computer (P1 100Mhz Win95). Is this even remotly possible? If it is possible how would I go about doing it?

Sorry I have to say no. It is possible to connect both computers with that Parallel cable, its call a Null modem cable and share files and do some other limited stuff. Unfortunately, the connection has to be IP based or have the ability assign an IP to that port. You cannot do that with windows 95.
