network cable unplugged

I am trying to connect to a network, but in "network connections" it says the network cable is unplugged.
the cable is plugged in at both ends of where is should be plugged into. it is not a broken cable as i have tried another cable,
I was using the network card fine last night. but now it wont work.
any suggestions?

hey i get the same problem u have I get it quite often, just snug the cable in and out it doesnt have to be in all the way it can hang half way out like Mine.. as long as it touches the pin connector things i can connect.. what i do is have a friend watch the screen while i play around with the plug
