ok i need you guys to help me here. I have a pc and a laptop, i want them both to be able to share files, adsl internet connection and a printer. I am planning on getting 1 more pc and have my ps2 sharing the dsl connection 2.
The laptop doesnt have ethernet so do i need to get something like this?

could someone tell me what other things i would need to do this?

that would work...or you can simply pick up a PCMCIA NIC fairly on the cheap.

you may want to consider wireless, to give you the freedom of around your house with the laptop. Most wireless routers also have wired ports for you desktop and PS2.

either way, routers are around $50

im not considering wireless because the laptop wont be moving because the screen is busted and uses a desktop screen 4 it. could u pick out the stuff that i will need to set it all up from "scorptec.com" for me.

Well, unfortunatly, I think that you should pick a better site.

How about newegg.com or tigerdirect.com

Why? Because they want $100 for this common 4-port router:

I would NOT buy from this site.....hands down. You can get the same stuff from a better site.
