I was helping someone install a wireless card after he couldn't get it to work.
Netgear has their own software that windows will not detect.
I first cleared everything - used windows and only installed the drivers. It worked fine - even logged into the encryption. But the router will not give an IP address. (sits at renewing IP)
So I tried using the Netgear software. It connected fine but windows could not get an IP again.
The router is set with DHCP so it should give IPs auto.
THANKS A LOT
