Need internet 500' away!

We just sold our house and building a new one in spring. Were living in a camper 500' from my in-laws. The Local internet company is 8 month out and pointless cuz we will have our new house by then. I have permission to access my inlaws wifi. I've looked into biquad and yagi antennas. I am confused how they hook up, I understand how they work just confused how to make them work. My second option would be to run a 500' cable along the ground but i would be fight very slow speeds for that length of ethernet cable.

Any help would be awesome.

Ethernet is limited to 300 ft without any repeaters or switches inline.

As for biquad antennas... I haven't looked into them in quite a while besides cantennas and converting an old satellite dish into a biquad. Not sure of the speeds you could get from them though, either.

Hawking makes converters to use with 2.4GHz yagi antennas. It would work fine if you have perfect LoS to your inlaws house.

Do you have one of those antennas? Or are you simply 'researching' them and making an investment?

What are the specifications of the router?

Might be better off by going with 3G or 4G wireless, you'll be limited on the number on gb's you can down load depending on which plan and carrier you choose (AT&T-Verizon...ect.)
