Does the modem in our home performs NAT???
we have ip address ranging in 192.168.X.X
It is not an unique address right??
can you please explain about this??

Are you trying to get your NAT Type to OPEN for XBOX or something?

Yes, if you have devices in your home which are using 192.168.x.x addresses, then something on the network is performing NAT, be it the modem, or the router (insert other similar device here)...
