Lan on dsl router

With my DSL-504 router can i host a little lan gaming experience or share files with the other pc using my router?? How do i do it if you can?

If the DSL 504 has network ports in it, yes you can use it to network the PC's and share internet and data. As long as you can communicate back and forth, you will be able to game, after all, network gaming is just sending and receiving data packets between computers.

Also,
As long as your OS (Operating System) supports networking (which most do) you won't have too much of a hard time getting them to communicate.

Generally speaking, unless you have configured your router otherwise, you should be able to communicate entirely freely on all ports within your local network, which means, "Game On!"

Of course, there may be a small bit of configuration necessary for your software firewalls, if necessary.
