Internet keeps going down and back up!!!!!

Im getting real frustrated. Ive posted a few post asking why my internet keeps going down and back up in a matter of seconds.

Ive tried everything people have mentioned.

I am on a LAN. This computer IS NOT the main of the lan. But, i notice every 5-20 minutes, it will say "Local Area Connection is Unplugged".

It says that on this computer, and the main computer. My system is clean, ive scanned for virus'es, spy ware, trojans, its good. All wires are plugged in and not pinching or anything.

When it disconnects, it gets disconnected for 1-2 seconds, then comes right back up, but results in me disconnecting from most games.

Anyone have any idea's? Could it be the router? I believe i did update the router.

Could it be the ISP? Modem?

Could be an ISP problem. When I was on wireless, I had those problems bad, and it was because of my ISP. First try resetting your modem.

My friend had the same problem and I told him to tell his ISP to replace his modem. He has no more connection problems with his new modem.

Ahh ok, i will contact my ISP sometime soon.

I did try to reset my modem and it still does it, i think it isn the modem.
