Internet Drops

So I've been having this problem for a while , whenever i connect to the internet usually when i boot my computer. The internet crashes sometimes their will already be two computers connected but for example when i started it today just crashed had to unplug router and trhen wait 30 seconds and then it connects again. Also My ISP is Comcast

What solved me dropping out all the time was my ISP changing me from (channel? route?) #1 to #2

The way it was explained to me is there are 3 channels that they can run your internet through, 1 being the fastest, but least stable, to 3 being the slowest and most stable. I'd ask them about that.
