Perform the same action on some of your other PC's and get their IP addresses also... then from the computer that will not connect, try the following command....

'ping 192.168.2.X' - where X is the IP address of one of the other computers...

Was the ping successful, or did it fail?

Have you tried running the internet connection wizard on the PC? Sometimes when I re-do a PC, it will only connect after running that wizard and selecting that the PC connects to the internet through a LAN.

Ya it was successfull i guess. packets:sent = 4, Received = 4, 0 lost

I have done the connection wizard before, but ill try it again now.

Sorry, I didn't leave... just multi-tasking....

So... if you open a command window on the computer that ISN'T working, and type 'ping 192.168.2.11' (the IP for THAT computer), the pings FAIL??

Try un-installing the drivers, and re-installing them.

Alright i am still having issues with my internet, me and ethereal_dragon worked on for quite a long time and couldnt get it to work. We got it to pass the ping test. I can test my othere computers (my host, laptop) from my broken pc. We just couldnt get it to work. I guess if you have any ideas leave them ill try and get back to you but i have to work in an 1hr so ill be back at 7p
