I'm having some trouble setting up my wireless/wired LAN

I am trying to set up a network in my home (this is my first network). I am using a wired and wireless combination router. I have 3 computers that I want to network, (1 desktop-wireless, 1 desktop-wired, and 1 laptop-wireless.) All of the computers recognize the network, but I cann't seem to view files located one computer using another computer. I also cann't play network games. (PS they all have similar IP adresses).

Are your folders shared?
They also have to be in the same workgroup.
I take it that you have them setup to get the IP address info automatically. If not you should.
Do a google search on how the change the workgroup. Since I dont know what OS you are using I can't give instruction, but they are easy to find online.
