So I have a home network setup , We have a router and a modem in the basement. I rent from someone that owns the house and lives here. I do not know the brand of the router or modem but I believe that my traffic is being throttled or at the least they are getting priority over my connections. Is there a way to test this theory ? I was thinking some way of sending a packet and then receiving it back and reading the data hops some how but not sur ehow to go about this ?
