Hello everyone (Happy Diwali)

My question is, what hardware options do I have to improve my wireless range and strength?

I have a comcast wireless router (w/o antenna, model: TG862G/CT) , that has very limited range and gives poor speeds for wireless devices.

(my hardwired speeds are pretty good, so I dont believe it is a connection issue)

How far are you trying to get the signal to reach?

How many devises are you wanting to support?

Is the router at a centralized location?

As far as the comcast router setup - are there any options on the devices' webserver such as which type of wireless it broadcasts? (a, b g, n)

What speeds are you getting and what speeds to you expect to get?

Currently I live on the 3rd floor of a apartment building and wish to receive wireless single on the first floor (in the laundry room, which on the same side of building that the router would be located).

I would like to have about 2-3 devices at most to be connected (cell phone x2 and or tablets).

The router would be located in my apartment.

The wireless router provided by comcast is a 802.11n type
