Good Cisco book?

Can someone recommend a good beginner Cisco book that I could start up on? Thanks!

Cisco Press's study guides, depends on which exam you are going to take.

you can buy sybex study guides too, the difference between cisco press's book and sybex's book is that cisco press is more orthodox and closer to their online curriculum, and sybex has funny writings and some tricks and tips.

I guess so. I know someone who did. i've looked through it and it seems really good. I've been reading the SYBEX book, and it's ok, but I would go with the dummies book.
