I need a good router (wired) for gaming thats $50 or under. I know they have the wireless d-link gaming router but im thinking getting that later on this year.

Just about any new name-brand router would be fine for gaming... Linksys, D-Link, Belkin.
If you are going to be getting a wireless router later in the year, I would suggest you just get a wireless router now. It would save you $50 in the long run, and you don't HAVE to use the wireless capabilities of the router.
