g00ns/ threatened to hack me

Ok I am sure I am going to sound like a dumbass but here it is.

I was playing on BF2. I started killing these guys in jets. They get ****ed and this one guy kept saying he was a member of g00ns (don't know what that is) and he was going to hack my computer.
I started to get worried (I know I'm a *****) and quit.

Now my questions are, is there anyway this guy could do this just by me being in a BF2 server?

Or as I suspect I am just overly cautious and these guys are just being asses trying to get me to leave.

I suppose people can know who you are by playing BF2, through finding your IP address, but then all you have to do is change your IP address.

A way to do that is using an anonymous proxy - there are many programs that do this for you.

I wouldn't worry too much about these threats.

Unless one of them was an admin on that server (they have access to the IPs logged), you got nothing to sweat about.

Change your BF2 tag to *anti-g00n* and go nuke 'em.
