download limit

what happens if you exceed your download limit? i have wanadoo broadband, with only a 2GB limit.

They would probably either lower your bandwidth to compensate for overuse...or charge you the appropriate amount depending on how far you've crossed the 2GB mark.

Or just cut your Internet off completely.

Also they may not even notice, I go over my limit all the time and nothing has ever happened. I'm not with Wanadoo though.

some isps just "reccomend" limits rather than having an actual limit, a reccomended limit doesnt matter if it is abused and more is downloaded.

My isp is kind of strick,Thank god they have a limit of 60 gig's a month The first time you go over they warn you the 2nd time they suspend you for a while,Then the 3rd time you go over they cut you off and wont give you service ever again

i think that wanadoo are strict, as you have to pay according to 2gb, 15gb or 30gb.
