Domain problem

i have a server and i am trying to coneected one computer with the server. when i log on, it keeps saying "no domain server to verify your password....". this computer os is win98.
the server can see this computer, other computers on the server can see this computer as well. when i pinned on this computer, i got response from server. also, i can get online through the server. the ip address are checked, they are not conflict with any others. What could be the problem?
any ideas?

Make sure the domain name or workgroup of the computers are the same.

I Think they are. I checked all other computers.

Check your domain server and verify that the username and password that you are using is correctly configured and nothing has been mistyped.

Try to rejoin the 98 machine to the domain.

Try to rejoin the 98 machine to the domain.

98 machines dont "join/register" with domains. you just enter credentials and authenicate.


check the spelling of the domain, then troubleshoot network connectivity.
