Constant, Random disconnects...

Ok, I got my computer hooked up to my D-Link DWL 620 router via Cat5.

It works fine with the exception that about every 30 seconds to a minute the "Network cable unplugged" message comes up and my MSN logs out and everything. Just for a split second is how long it is.

The cables are secure and my software is installed properly.

Either your router needs replaced or your ethernet card. The other option is the your computer has some kind a crazy infection that likes messing with you. It could be a router setting but it is not likely.

Hi there

What kind of connection do you have.Cable DSL of Dial up.
I have cable and with a D-Link DI 604 and i lose connection about every week on friday or saturday and i find that the router dosn't allow the Isp renew the dhcp.So Ive had to enable the DMZ setting on the router to fix this problem.
