Searching for Router and Wireless Card PCI or USB..the best possible units
Im in the process of purchasing a Desktop computer security system (DVR, Security cameras and software) all i need now is a router and wireless card. The system will be put in apartment building on the second floor and there will be a home base system in the basement. The basement system will have DSL and the new router. The purpose of the homebase is to view the camera's and control the second system and maybe record in the future and to view on the internet if possible. The distance from basement to second floor is around 40 to 50 feet.
All camera's are hard wired
Both computers will be PC base on XP pro
(1) Security Desktop computer 2nd floor (wireless card,security software, dvr, cameras)
(2) basement computer..home base (router, DSL ..to view the camera's and control second computer)
I need bandwidth, range , a router and card that wont drop the signal if possible
