Greetings everyone! :D

I have two computers on my desktop and I want to connect both of them to the internet. I have cable access. I have ran a cable to one computer from the cable modem but, don't want to run another if I don't have too (30 feet). The two computers on my desktop One a P4 with XP/2000 dual boot and the other Win98/Linux dual boot connected with a KVM switch. The XP box is connected to my cable modem. What I want to know is what would be the best way to connect both PC's to the Cable access?? Router?? Hub?? I already have a wireless router next to my cable entry that connects a laptop in the back of the house. I really don't want to put a wireless card in either of my PC's on my desktop. So what would you guys suggest??

You have to either:
A: Buy a router, then run cable from both pc's to the router
B: Use your wireless router and buy wireless NIC's for the PC's
C: Set up ICS on the XP machine. Then you'd have to put another NIC in the XP PC, and run cable for the NIC in your 98 PC to the second NIC in the XP PC.

If it was me, I would buy the router, and connect both pc's to it.

I have never set up a machine with ICS does that effect speed to the second machine?? Which router would you recommend??

Oh and BTW Net + is much easier than A+
