3 computers all joined FTP workgroup
all XP Home
all connected to a D-Link Router
all can browse the internet
all have Client for MS Network, File & Printer Sharing, TCP/IP
I also did the home network wizard and ran the file on all computers

A laptop multiple logons (no password)
B desktop same logon as desktop C (no password)
C desktop same logon as desktop B (no password)

In "Workgroup Computers" A and B can see ABC but C is not accessible

C can't even access the FTP workgroup (can browse to see FTP but then it is not accessible)

How do I get desktop C to play nice and I guess first of all even access the FTP workgroup? I can browse to see FTP Workgroup but it just hangs when I try to access it.

i have almost the same problem... i am running win64, the other to xp.. both xps see mine but i cant access either??? also i'm not the best with networking, any advice would be great!

Just so you know. My problem was solved by turning the windows firewall off on the problem machine (C) then I connected fine and turned the Windows Firewall back on. ????

Strange because it was on both A and B machines and they worked.
