I have a linux based Dream box FTA that has usb and network capability. It already has an IP assigned when I physically plug it into my router.
I do not have a linux driver for the usb dlink adapter. It's 80.11b I think. I have belkin wireless G setup at home.
My friend at work thinks I may not need a driver, but I would have to initially plug in the Dream box into my router then plug in the usb adapter at which time the network would see it.
Any ideas?
I intend to try this today.
thanks
