I'm trying to get A+ under my belt. I took the first half and passed. However, I didn't pass the second half, that I took 2 months ago. Since then, I have steered away from it. But now, I figured I better finish this up.
I think the 2009 edition has ended, though. But even with the new version, the applications should be just about the same.
The sections I fail in are business class printers and advanced networking. I have never been in a position in doing this. I know most of the command prompt commands, but some just stumped me.
In printers, I fail in what the difference from a fuser (sp?), drum, header, etc. I just never dealt with this, even in college, 6 years ago.
In networking, I don't know about all those different network protocols. Telnet, SSHL, advanced FTP, etc.
Is there someplace I can study this up? Other than Wikipedia? Really get down and dirty.
Edit: I do have practice tests, but they don't go as deep into the above as the real exam does.
