IT intern?

I was just wonder lets say you are going to college to work in the IT field. Are there alot of interns out there during the summer for those students.

You are asking the wrong group of people. Most of the people on this site are way older than high school students. Like lots older. The best thing you can do is contact companies directly and ask them about internships. They will hold your answers better than any online forum.

I have worked with summer interns at the companies I have worked at over the years so, yes there are. When my son was in high school, I got him an IT summer internship at the company I worked for. My best suggestion would be to talk to your counselor to ask how to find companies with internships available.
