Okay Guitar Hero 3 Question!

Alright i have looked high and low and everywhere i could think of... does anyone know if the PS2's guitar hero 3 guitar (white) will work for rock band 2... i want to get my friend this game for christmas but i am not sure if the guitar will work, and being in college space is a bit of an issue to be storing 2 guitars.... PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME.... im losing my mind here..

okay that kinda helped... but it doesnt answer for rock band 2.... and the guitar my friend has says TBD for rock band... so....

also it doesnt mention if the Wii one works for RB or RB2....

I'm pretty sure it will work. Guitar Hero controllers worked for Rock Band, and I think pretty much everything that's compatible with Rock Band is also compatible with RB2.
