64 or Gamecube?

Me and a friend have been debating this for years. Which is better in your guys opinion?

64. Too many memories and the Gamecube could just never grab my attention with its titles.

64 did have the better game selection but i still have fond memories of resident evil 4 on the game cube

Too many firsts on the 64 to count. I remember throwing my friend's controller out his window, when he refused to NOT be oddjob when playing Goldeneye. Aaah....good times.

N64. The GC didn't have the staying power that the 64 did, mostly due to the fact that the games just weren't as iconic as the N64 ones, and because there were superior consoles on the market as competition at the time (PS2, Xbox / XBL, etc)

I would choose Nintendo 64 since it had a good line of titles and memories. Gamecube just caught my interest for a little.
