Removing heatsink

Hmm

I have a 1.0 xbox motherboard, well im trying to remove the heatsink on the chipsit by the CPU but its glued down. Anyone know if its safe to use rubbing alcohol on this or would that damage the motherboard? Because im wanting to put AS5 on it....

why do you need to cool it?.... the stock should be fine
