I know you said that you don't want shooters, but Gears of War 2 is a very good game especially online. The new Need for Speed is also a good game.

Get NHL 09 and play online co-op with your friends. Drink beer and the headache or whatever the problem was is now gone. Keep drinking to continue this great feeling
