HL2 mapping sites?

I found some good Half life 2 mapping sites that have tips and tutorials. Snarkpit.net is my favorite and interlopers.net is another one. I was wondering if any one knows any others.

I want to give it a go but are there any sites about that will take you from step 1. What I want to do is make a basic tutorial map and I need a site/person to show me the ropes because I reckon that once I get the hang of it I should be OK. The 2 sites that you have told us about (thanks btw), assume that you already know how to make a map but I need to make a map first.LOL Any help would be appreciated.

Nice one. That's excatly what I was looking for. I didn't think Valve did support for the SDK. I shall crack on and see what I come out with. Once again thanks for the site, I've been looking for a while now.
