Halo need good GPU?

This game has worse graphics then doom 3, and i run doom 3 on med-high on my fx5200. Now, on halo, i can get it on high settings at 640x400 or 800x600, otherwise massive lag. Is halo on pc just like this, or is there some sort of fix?

i would say a 5600 is needed for this.. but i had the same problem with my GeForce FX5200 128MB AGP 4x.. i had put it on like 800x600 and i would get around 12 Frames per second.. i thought it was the Drivers but i updated didnt make no difference... NO AA or AF was on just complete lag... well i dont lag no more as i have a new PC lol
