I am in search of an new RPG and was wondering what some of your favorites for the PC are.

Warcraft III, World of Warcraft and C & C Generals.

If you like Star Wars stuff, get Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

You can't go wrong by buying that game.

I wasn't a Star Wars fan at all, and that game STILL kept me hooked.

Great game, including some great visuals, so that would be my pick.

1st: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - best game I've ever played, can't wait for the sequel (which is one of the reasons I am building this new gaming system.)

2nd: Neverwinter Nights Hordes of the Underdark expansion - although it contained numerous bugs, this expansion to the popular D&D based Neverwinter Nights is among the best games I've played.

fallout/fallout 2. really good. hard to find in a store, but get it cheap off amazon or ebay anyway. my favorite games, you get to be a badass, and do whatever the f you want. You get sledgehammers and machine guns, and laser rifles later on. trust... get this game (warcraft 3 sucks..)

I'll second the Fallout series. Exellent games. 1st one is good, the second is even better, I must of replayed it 10 times.

STAR WARS :- KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC

If you want some thing old school (and some of the better RPGs as appose to the ones out today IMHO.)
* FallOut 1 & 2
* FallOut Tactics (If you like some thing that is very combat mission oritentated)
* PlaneScape : TORMENT (Heaps of replay value in this game)
