COD4 Multiplayer

Single player runs perfectly smooth but when I switch to Multi player the performance is shocking even at the menu screen everything is so choppy and delayed... finding a game takes forever and playing is impossible. I tried changing resolutions and refrsh rates from 75 down to 56.. it seemed to go a bit better at 70Hz compared to 75 but anything lower there was no difference.


specs are Athlon X2 4200+, Nvidia 7950GT, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, internet is ADSL+2 usually get download speeds of 700kb/s so it should run fine.

back to the problem exit all background apps such as messenger, internet security etc see if that helps

Fixed the problem... anyone who has the same issue, do this...

the problem is due to a big memory leak from Punk Buster.

Update punkbuster for COD4 and restart the computer then things should be running fine.
