COD4 FPS Help

Hello All.

Im currently using an 8600GT.
I used to be able to get 40-60 FPS every single time I played online. Now I only get 30 max, no matter what resolution. However, if I play SP, I can still get ~60, as it should be. The only possible explanation would be vsync but I don't see any option for that.

there is the Vsync option, however i dont think it is that, check if you have your FPS capped at 30, type /com_maxfps 85 (cod4 default cap) and see if your FPS rises, if that doesnt work maybe try turning down anti aliasing if its on, or closing down any programs that are running in the background.

There is a slight possibility that you have spyware on your computer, you should go through osiris's guid which you can find in the virus section.
